Unika is the fifth timepiece in the Nordgreen collection that comes as a celebration of open-minded beauty. Nordgreen x Mathilde Gøhler combines all the unique Unika components in a redefined two-toned statement piece, which brings gold and silver in a graceful symbiosis. The purpose that comes with the design of the Unika female line is to inspire women to pursue and communicate to the world their authenticity with an open mind and note of playfulness. That is why we asked Mathilde about the things that inspire her and lead her forward, behind the scenes of our latest campaign photoshoot:
We are proud to announce our latest global collaboration with the Danish model and influencer Mathilde Gøhler, well-known for her mesmerising natural beauty and good heart. Our collaboration is meant to raise funding for My Foundation, of which Mathilde is a co-founder, for the children of Buruburu, Kenya, where water resources are scarce.
As a tradition for the holiday season, here at Nordgreen we dedicate our work towards giving back to the less fortunate ones. For a large part of children around the world, Christmas is that long-awaited magical time of the year when they get to experience the warmth and love of their families, enjoying delicious meals and finding gifts underneath a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Unfortunately that is not the case for many children out there, therefore we would like to make sure that the less privileged children in the UK will also get to experience the joy of Christmas.
The Greatest Gift Is the Gift of Giving
That is why this year we are partnering with the charity organisation KidsOut. Nordgreen and KidsOut guarantee to provide a gift and deliver it to a child in refuge, for every watch sold during the holiday period 2 December - 30 December. The presents will be given to children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes, leaving all possessions behind. By supporting their initiative, we ensure that these children will have good Christmas memories and won’t feel left out.
Last year KidsOut marked a record-breaking number of participants to their cause - over 23,000 toys being distributed to children in refuge. This year we are joining forces with them, hoping that our Nordgreen community can have an even larger impact over the joy of children in need throughout the holidays.

Creating Timepieces with a Cause with Our Giving Back Program
We realize that while it is simply not possible to not create any carbon footprint, we can, however, do our best to compensate that by putting effort into improving the quality of life where needed, by joining forces with local NGOs and supporting their missions of improving health and education, as well as tackling environmental challenges across the globe.
We have estimated that our efforts during 2020 have so far resulted in approximately 1.9 km2 preserved rainforest in Latin America, 23.000 months of education to children in India and 77.000 months of clean drinking water to families in the Central African Republic. We always aim to do better and that is why we will continue to work with Pratham UK, Cool Earth and Water for Good. This way we enable our community to pick the mission they resonate with the most and offer them the opportunity to contribute with their timepiece.
This is just the beginning of our journey.

Det er det budskab, vores Nordgreen-ure forsøger at afspejle.
Da naturen er den ultimative inspirationskilde for Nordgreens chefdesigner Jakob Wagner og tillige en integreret del af den skandinaviske livsstil, finder de fleste af kampagnens fotoshoots sted i maleriske Heatherhill i Nordsjælland, hvor tiden lader til at følge sit eget tempo. ‘Nordgreen x Christopher’-serien er en ultimativ påmindelse om, at tiden er alt, vi har, og at vi skal bruge den fornuftigt – eller som Christopher formulerer det: “Tiden er alt det, jeg ønsker, at den skal være”.

Udover at være verdenskendt sanger og musiker er den københavnbaserede Christopher en hjertevarm og jordnær person, der er opdraget med de skandinaviske principper om at yde støtte til mennesker i nød. Foruden at være elsket af det nordiske publikum har Christopher etableret sig på den globale scene og oplever tilslutning fra fans over hele verden. Denne symbiose mellem den nordiske vision og de globale udsigter er bindeleddet mellem artisten og Nordgreens værdisæt, som netop har bragt dette længe ventede samarbejde til live.
This holiday season, we as Nordgreen want to make the season all about giving back to less fortunate people and families. The holiday season is a special time when families come together to celebrate and have 'hygge' times, enjoy a delicious meal, and exchange presents. However, not everyone is as privileged. For some, it can be a season of loneliness, particularly for people in need.
That's why Nordgreen, in cooperation with the Social Bite Fund, a registered charity in Scotland, is hosting a campaign from December 3 - 30, 2019. Social Bite operates as a ‘social business’ working to solve social issues like hunger and homelessness.
For every customer purchase, Nordgreen and the Social Bite will donate a warm meal to a homeless person when our customers use the Discount code: SOCIALBITE upon checkout and purchase of their items.
As a symbol of appreciation for their donation towards Socialbite and to spread awareness around the topic of homelessness, they can choose one free strap from our collection or choose our limited edition Black Nylon Strap in addition to their purchase. The nylon strap will be launched exclusively for our ‘Holiday Charity Campaign 2019.’

Why we give back is at the core of our identity. Our Danish values have taught us the importance of focusing our ideas and resources toward humanity and our lessening our impact on nature. Partnering with Water for Good confirms our notion that there are others in the global community that do more than provide temporary relief to those in need, they provide realistic solutions that also empower people to continue these initiatives hopefully through the next generations.
It’s not only about our watches. It’s also about helping others and saving our planet.
